Soldiers of the cross prayer

Soldiers of the cross prayer squad is a group of fire brand individuals form various churches of Assemblies of God Church Aba district, under the leadership of the District Superintendent and other district leaders. They gather twice in a month to pray for the Church, families and the nation. The venue of the prayer is based on schedule; but during the Sunday outing, the prayer venue is at 222 Clifford Road Aba.

Rural evangelism campaign

Rural evangelism is a district level mission project carried out by pastors and brethren form various churches of Assemblies of God Church Aba district, under the leadership of the District Superintendent and other district leaders. The outreach happens once a month. The team led by the Superintendent launches to villages around the region of our district. They plant churches, preach the Gospel to the poor and to villagers. The aim is to ensure that the rural areas are not lacking the presence of God.

About us

The corporate name of the organization is “The General Council of Assemblies of God” which term is reserved for legal use when referring to the legal entity.
The term General Council is used to refer to business sessions of the corporation. The term Assemblies of God is used to refer to the entire constituency.
The business sessions of the organization now takes place once in every four years. Each ordained minister and two delegates from each established section make up the voting constituency. In the event there is no ordained minister residing in an area, one minister can represent the area.
