The Assemblies of God Nigeria was founded in 1934 at Old Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria. It was in a Holy Ghost Revival like the bible days, but this time in a mud house where a group of believers prayed down the Holy Ghost. Since then, the Assemblies of God Church Nigeria has grown to become the pioneer of Pentecostalism in Nigeria and Africa.
